Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices
- Manage project timelines and material inventory
- Provide detailed reports for project documentation
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Master/Journeyman)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NYC building codes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and valid Class B CDL
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, voltage testers)
- Emergency response experience preferred
