Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems per NEC and local codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Perform system diagnostics and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with contractors and clients for project completion
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
