Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Michigan regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using test equipment and troubleshooting methods
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Train apprentices and junior electricians on safety protocols
- Complete detailed work reports and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven knowledge of NEC, OSHA standards, and local codes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Strong diagnostic skills with circuit testers, multimeters, and other tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
