Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and code-compliant wiring in both residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced testing equipment.
- Adhere to all local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical details clearly to clients.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License issued by the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and necessary personal hand tools.
