Job Overview:
Metro Power Electric is seeking dedicated professionals to handle a variety of residential and commercial electrical projects. You will be responsible for ensuring our clients receive top-tier service while adhering to all local and national codes.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, strictly following OSHA safety regulations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentice electricians as needed.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding progress and any changes.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical trade.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Completion of OSHA 10 or 30 hour construction safety training.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
