Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in commercial and residential settings.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety compliance and system efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper tool management and site cleanup.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License required (Master License preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local Houston building codes.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and work in various environmental conditions.
