Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine proper placement of electrical systems.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades personnel to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (State of New Mexico).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including transformers, generators, and circuit breakers.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
