Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC/NJCC) and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems to prevent failures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Utilize power tools and testing equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License issued by the State of Louisiana.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in all weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
