We are looking for a reliable Electrician who takes pride in their craft. You will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, including circuit failures, faulty wiring, and malfunctioning equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to plan projects and determine material requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job site.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
