Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Ensure all work is completed in strict compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations.
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, often in tight spaces or at heights.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to obtain any necessary state-specific licenses or certifications.
