Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for project implementation
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and systematic troubleshooting
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and team members for seamless project execution
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
- Conduct system inspections and prepare detailed reports
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and local building regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Emergency response experience preferred
