Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine wiring layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all installations comply with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate complex construction schedules.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate job site logs.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and load calculations.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
