Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts.
- Ensure all electrical work meets local and national codes (NEC) and safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of electrical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to deliver projects on time.
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License required (valid in NY and/or NC).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
