Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and residential projects.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and local building codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in the mentorship and training of apprentice electricians.
- Prepare accurate documentation and time logs for project management.
Qualifications
- Valid and current New Mexico Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Certification in OSHA 30 (Construction Industry) is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and circuitry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
