Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical circuits.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service and explain technical issues to clients clearly.
Qualifications
- Current Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and wiring standards.
- Familiarity with power tools and testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for climbing ladders and working in various environments.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
