Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial plumbing installations and repairs, including pipefitting, leak detection, and fixture replacement.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan pipe layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national building codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers to diagnose issues and explain repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the proper disposal of waste materials.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including pipe cutters, wrenches, and soldering torches.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in tight spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric attitude.
