Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, including pipe leaks, clogs, and fixture failures.
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls and service requests with a professional attitude.
- Ensure all work complies with local Washington D.C. building codes and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, including clean-up of work areas and clear communication.
- Manage inventory and tools, ensuring equipment is in good working order for night shifts.
- Document all jobs and maintain accurate service records.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License in Washington D.C. or the ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM or similar) with a strong work ethic.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
