Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and team members for project efficiency
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices when assigned
- Complete detailed documentation for installations and repairs
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
