Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments to identify and repair leaks, clogs, and other plumbing malfunctions in residential and commercial properties.
- Install and maintain piping systems, water heaters, and fixtures according to local and national plumbing codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan piping layouts and system modifications.
- Utilize advanced tools such as hydro jets, pipe cameras, and digital leak detectors to solve complex issues efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and maintaining a clean work site.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely project completion and adherence to budget constraints.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent future system failures and ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Plumber License issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of local LA building codes, the California Plumbing Code, and Title 24 energy standards.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in tight or confined spaces for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Availability for occasional weekend or evening work to meet client needs.
