Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, operating hand/power tools, and debris removal
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with site preparation and construction phases
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Operate light machinery (saws, drills, concrete mixers) with proper training
- Complete daily timecards and equipment inspections accurately
- Adhere to strict project timelines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours daily
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime during peak seasons
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company provides training)
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
