Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, levels, etc.)
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise construction tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet OSHA standards
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for daily job site attendance
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and PPE requirements
