Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and debris removal
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and basic equipment (concrete mixers, jackhammers)
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Assist skilled tradesmen with layout, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Complete daily timecards and progress reports accurately
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours daily
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices
- Punctuality and consistent attendance required
- Ability to follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Experience operating power tools preferred but not required
