Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate and maintain hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and finishing work
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read blueprints and interpret technical construction documents
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Perform equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction or skilled trades experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with common construction tools (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
