Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools (saws, drills, levels) under supervision
- Perform debris removal, excavation support, and site cleanup
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Maintain organized tool sheds and material staging areas
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexible availability for early morning/weekend shifts
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company provides)
