Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout measurements and material installation
- Operate heavy machinery safely including forklifts and earth-moving equipment
- Maintain clean and organized job sites with proper waste disposal
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and quality control standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction schematics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex construction projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification required
- Ability to operate power tools and heavy machinery safely
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Class A CDL license a plus
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
