Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, excavators) under supervisor guidance
- Construct and install scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and equipment operation
- Perform general cleanup and waste management duties daily
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency and safety awareness
- Availability for early morning starts (5:30 AM) and overtime
- Physical stamina for 8-10 hour outdoor work in AZ heat
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- 1+ years construction experience preferred but not required
