Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Support concrete pouring, framing, finishing, and other trade operations
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we train motivated candidates!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
