Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Assist carpenters with framing, formwork, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and curing processes
- Perform material inventory and stock management duties
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License required
- OSHA 10-hour Construction certification preferred
- Basic tool proficiency (hand tools, power tools)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Flexible availability including weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- No felony convictions (background check required)
