Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled tradespersons with carpentry, masonry, and installation tasks
- Maintain job site cleanliness and safety protocols per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Report hazards and maintain accurate project documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Flexible availability for extended hours and weekend shifts
