Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks like mixing concrete, laying foundations, and erecting structures
- Operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Load/unhaul materials using forklifts and trucks as required
- Perform site cleanup and waste management daily
- Report equipment malfunctions or hazardous conditions immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, wrenches, levels)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to work overtime/weekends as needed
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
