Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NECA) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Maintain detailed service records and safety documentation
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California electrician license (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and Sacramento-area regulations
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, circuit testers)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Pass background check and drug screening
