Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose plumbing issues using diagnostic tools and customer feedback
- Perform drain cleaning, pipe unclogging, and sewer line inspections
- Follow safety protocols and building codes during all installations and repairs
- Provide excellent customer service and explain solutions clearly to homeowners
- Collaborate with senior plumbers and apprentices on complex projects
- Maintain clean work areas and properly dispose of materials
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to attend paid technical training and certification programs
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Chicago metro area
