Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial plumbing repairs, including leak detection, pipe unclogging, and fixture replacement.
- Install and maintain water heaters, gas lines, and sewer systems according to local codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to plan plumbing layouts.
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues and provide cost-effective solutions to customers.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners and other tradespeople to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) and work in tight, cramped spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to pass a background check.
