Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance for leaks, clogs, and pipe issues.
- Diagnosis: Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot complex plumbing problems efficiently.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and provide accurate cost estimates.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local Philadelphia building codes and safety regulations.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tool organization and site cleanup after job completion.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and occasional overtime.
- License: A valid Driverβs License and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working in tight spaces, and standing for extended periods.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating material needs.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not mandatory.
