Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Supervise and train junior electricians on job sites
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients
- Maintain safety standards and conduct regular equipment checks
- Complete detailed documentation for completed projects
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, wiring, and circuit design
- Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial controls
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
