Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to plan installations.
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and control systems.
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Lead and mentor apprentice electricians on the job site, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including accurate project estimates and clear communication.
Qualifications
- Valid California Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Current OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
