Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations
- Perform diagnostic checks on water heaters, pipes, and drainage systems
- Use hand/power tools safely for pipe cutting, fitting, and repairs
- Maintain clean job sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Complete basic plumbing tasks under direct supervision
- Document work progress and material usage
- Participate in weekly skills development sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic hand tool proficiency (wrenches, saws, pipe cutters)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain North Carolina plumbing license within 6 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro
- No prior experience necessary – training provided!
