Responsibilities
- Perform high-voltage and low-voltage electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local and national codes (NFPA 70E, NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices on proper techniques and safety procedures.
- Document all work completed, including time logs and material usage.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License (or Master License).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
