Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems in accordance with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Read, interpret, and create electrical blueprints and schematics for new construction and renovation projects.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and safety compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Lead, mentor, and train apprentice electricians and junior technicians on-site.
- Ensure all job sites adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Prepare and submit accurate time cards and material requisitions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Master Electrician License in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- OSHA 30 Construction Safety Certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
