Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and industrial systems.
- Interpret and implement blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure strict compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting of electrical faults and resolve issues efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Lead and mentor apprentice electricians, providing on-the-job training and technical guidance.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, wear, or inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license required (Master Electrician license is a significant plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and floor plans.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
