Responsibilities
- Diagnose & Repair: Perform complex troubleshooting and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Installation: Execute the installation of new wiring, circuits, lighting fixtures, and control systems according to local and national codes.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret complex electrical blueprints and schematics to guide installation and maintenance efforts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent system failures and extend equipment life.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the day shift team to ensure continuity of electrical operations and report critical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Indiana.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional electrical experience, with a focus on night shift maintenance.
- Tools: Proficient in the use of standard electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
