Responsibilities
- Execute Complex Installations: Perform high-quality wiring, conduit bending, and installation of electrical systems in compliance with NEC and OSHA standards.
- System Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and lighting systems during the night shift.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure facility safety.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute projects.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the day shift crew and project managers to ensure seamless handovers and project continuity.
Qualifications
- License Required: Valid Oregon Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and using power tools and testing equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
