Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with local and national codes.
- Blueprint Analysis: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts and ensure precise installation.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and system failures efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Project Oversight: Lead on-site projects, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and timely completion.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Washington State regulations.
- Mentorship: Guide apprentice electricians and junior staff, sharing technical expertise and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license issued by the State of Washington.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution systems.
- Tools: Proficiency in using a wide range of electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Driver's License: A valid, clean driver's license is required for travel to various job sites.
