Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and panels.
- Lead junior electricians and apprentices, providing guidance on technical tasks and safety protocols.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety standards and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Texas required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial/industrial electrical work.
- Safety: OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading schematics, troubleshooting circuitry, and using power tools.
- Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and documentation.
- Reliability: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
