Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and wiring methods.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
