Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair: Perform complex diagnostic work on residential and commercial piping systems, including leaks, blockages, and pressure issues.
- Installation: Install and maintain water heaters, gas lines, and complete plumbing systems according to local and national codes.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, explaining technical issues clearly and ensuring 100% satisfaction.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to strict California plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor apprentice plumbers and assist in training junior staff members when required.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain company vehicles and tools to ensure readiness for service calls.
- Estimations: Provide accurate time and material estimates for new construction and renovation projects.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid California Master Plumber License (Journeyman license with significant experience will be considered).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, soldering, threading pipes, and using diagnostic equipment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Transportation: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record; reliable personal vehicle required for daily service calls.
- Tools: Ability to provide own professional-grade tools (or negotiate tool allowance).
- Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
