Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and pipe bursts
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with NYC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order plumbing materials for projects
- Mentor junior plumbers and apprentices
- Respond to emergency calls during after-hours and weekends
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Master Plumber license (required)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Expertise in pipefitting, drainage systems, and backflow prevention
- Familiarity with NYC plumbing codes and inspection processes
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
