Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and directing traffic
- Load/unload construction materials and operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Mix concrete, pour foundations, and install drainage systems
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other trades with material handling
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Read blueprints and interpret technical specifications
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Central Florida
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Team player with strong communication skills
