Your Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipe leaks, clogs, and fixture failures.
- Install new piping systems, water heaters, and drainage infrastructure according to local and national codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan project execution.
- Perform preventative maintenance on existing systems to prevent costly future breakdowns.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to provide accurate time estimates and updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Journeyman Plumber License or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and local building codes.
- Proficiency in pipefitting, welding, and soldering techniques.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs and working in confined spaces.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
