Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with DC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Manage project timelines and client communications professionally
- Mentor junior plumbers and apprentices
- Perform preventive maintenance on water heaters, pipes, and fixtures
- Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience with DC licensing requirements
- Valid DC Master Plumber certification (Plumbing License #PL-DC-1234)
- Proven expertise in water heater installation, pipefitting, and drain cleaning
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and building regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
